Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are the NFL’s most recognizable franchise — “America’s Team,” instantly identified by the silver star. That reach makes the Cowboys one of the strongest team collector markets in football cards: there are more Cowboys collectors, chasing more players, than for almost any other franchise.

Founded in 1960 as an NFL expansion team, the Cowboys have won five Super Bowls — VI (1971 season), XII (1977), XXVII (1992), XXVIII (1993) and XXX (1995) — from eight Super Bowl appearances and ten NFC championships. The modern core

Today’s Cowboys collection starts with quarterback Dak Prescott and receiver CeeDee Lamb, plus the Dallas-era cards of pass rusher Micah Parsons, who was traded to Green Bay in August 2025. Their rookie cards, numbered parallels, and autographs are the most actively traded modern-Cowboys cards.

The legends

The franchise’s history gives collectors a deep bench of Hall of Fame names: Emmitt Smith (the NFL’s all-time rushing leader), Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach at quarterback, Michael Irvin at receiver, and stars like Deion Sanders and Tony Dorsett. Vintage rookies of these players — especially in high grade — are the cards that hold value across decades.
